January '09

Well, here I go again not updating this blog to often.

We had a fantastic Christmas - Nana and Poppy, Aunt Ronda and all her crew came out and we had a great visit!! Of course it wouldn't be a holiday without a trip to the ER.... but for a minor cause - infection in the hand from a sticker or something like that!

It wouldn't be Christmas without a trip to Caddo either - that is for sure!! And a deer hunt.... may I say that I got a buck and Matt got a BIG goose egg!!!!!!! :) I have to rub it in an chance I get!

Kids are doing great.... Our latest accomplishments.... Colt -sleeping all night... FINALLY!! And Kaeli with no accidents.... FINALLY!! These are 2 MAJOR hurdles... that we have successfully cleared!!!

Once again-- I'll try to do better at updating the blog! Here's to hoping!

Fall Festival

We went to a Fall Festival with some friends a few weeks ago... the kids had a ball! Things were catered to kids a little older - but we still managed to entertain ourselves! K did the dunk booth... and she actually hit the target and made the guy fall in the water - she was SO proud!!!! :) Colt's favorite thing was fishing - even though they were "out of fish". It was a fun time!!

Thanksgiving...

I'm already not doing so good at keeping up with this blog... and I've only just begun.

Hope that everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving.... We have ALOT to be thankful for. We had a nice quiet day ... Matt had to work - so we stuck around to share some good old family time. It was an enjoyable day. Then we got started with decking the halls and getting ready for Christmas... It's my favorite time of the year.

The kids and I headed for some grandparent time over the weekend and enjoy a restful weekend in Caddo. Everyone always loves going out there. Nothing like it!

Halloween!

Halloween was a blast! It was a whole day filled with fun. We started it with a costume display, sticker art project, and then witch fingers wrapped with bandaids (little smokies wrapped with cressants). Then we had cupcakes with our festive witch and pumpkin hats and then finished up the day with a pumpkin pinata. This was all before 5 o'clock! Then for our evening fun - we dressed up our little Daisy and Donald Duck and hit the streets with our friend Mason the Caveman. We had a blast! I couldn't believe the amount of trick-or-treaters in our neighborhood... it was like a scene out of a movie! It was a fun and exciting Halloween for all of us!

First Official Post!

A friend of mine introduced me to this blog thing (thanks Traci!) and the more I looked at hers, the more I thought it would be a neat way to keep us all in touch a little better. So, that is my motive for this blog! I will try my very best to keep it up to date with pictures and stories - but try is all I can say (I do have 5 rugrats around here during the week!) I hope that you guys all enjoy!
